‘Mutya ng Dabaw’, ‘Parada’ now seen worldwide

The main events of the celebration of the 72nd Araw ng Dabaw can now be seen worldwide live through the internet.

The convergence of the techonology and expertise of Blue Media, a company engaged in the provision of citywide protection systems, and Digilution, a full-service company that specializes in internet solutions, software development and factory automation, in coordination with the 72nd Araw ng Dabaw Executive Committee and the City Tourism Operations Office make the historic live streaming of the Araw ng Dabaw events possible.

The events that will be webcast live include the search for the 2009 Mutya ng Dabaw on March 14 (Saturday), Sayawan sa Da’n (March 15) and Parada Dabawenyo (March 16). It will also showcase activities within the City Hall and Rizal Park areas during the Araw ng Dabaw weekend.

This transmission of the Araw ng Dabaw events live on the internet is a first in the history of the celebration of the city’s charter anniversary. The live streaming and other highlights and features of the celebration can be seen on www.arawngdabaw.com.

Digilution also created www.davaotourism.com, www.kadayawan.com and www.mutyangdabaw.com

Bluemedia is a company engaged in the provision of citywide protection systems. These systems run on existing wired and wireless networks of cities and municipalities.
